Terms of service

By using Design Work (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. The Service is operated by Magic Crystal Limited (28 Wellington St, Central, Hong Kong). Direct questions to support@design.work.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you are.

2. Accounts + sign-in

The Service uses passwordless email magic-links. You are responsible for keeping your inbox secure; anyone with access to it can sign in as you. Notify us immediately if you suspect compromise.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't use the Service to generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
• Don't attempt to access other users' workspaces or our infrastructure beyond what the API exposes.
• Don't share or resell sign-in credentials.
• Don't use automated systems to circumvent hosted-key quota limits.

4. BYOK + content ownership

On Free, you bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key. BYOK generation costs are billed to you by that provider at its rates; Design Work adds no markup and does not apply a run cap. You retain ownership of your prompts and the artifacts the agent generates from them. We claim no rights over your work.

5. Subscriptions, billing, refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing you authorize automatic renewal until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; access continues through the end of the current period.

Refunds are handled case-by-case. If something went wrong with the Service, email support@design.work within 14 days of the charge.

6. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee it. Planned maintenance is announced when possible; emergency maintenance may happen without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; we'll email you the reason except in cases of abuse or legal obligation.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to active users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes that can't be resolved by email are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
